Thanks for this post. I've been reading spiritually focused self-help books for years, but recently I've felt this building pressure to just "find my life's purpose" or "find my calling" like it's a lost puppy. I had an idea the other day to write a self-help book about this pressure and how to relieve it for those of us who seem to like variety and can't seem to just nail down one purpose in our lives. I think there are more of us than those people who are driven to pursue one calling in their life.

Thank you for sharing this.

You are really right. Absolute Peace of Mind = Absolute Happiness. Peace of mind is the hardest thing to achieve, especially if we are triggered with certain circumstances in our lives. However, if we manage to control our thoughts before turning it to actions, we can be sure that all our choices can be fulfilling enough to give us the peace of mind. It cannot be found on other people, but within ourselves. As old adage says, "it all starts within."

I am looking forward reading your future posts then. Have a great day! Enjoy life...peace!

HI Yvonne,
I'm the same blend of styles. At first I had a negative reaction to the "Warrior" label, but after working with Donna LeBlanc personally, she helped me see the beauty in the Warrior, and that yes, in fact, there are times I have been thought of as a bull in a china shop. Hopefully those times are few and far between - and way in the past. :)

I like this. My signature is a mixture of visionary and warrior, leaning more toward warrior. At least that's how I see myself. It would be interesting to know how others see me.

I agree, Jeannette. When it comes to my list of things "to do" I like to write it by hand. That way it is more noticeable if I don't get something done for several days and I have to keep rewriting it on the list - drives the point home that I either need to do it or let it go. For the other types of checklists - things that happen multiple times - I keep it on the computer. That ways it's easy to update as my experience or the needs of the list change.
Thanks!

Checklists are great. I have a travel checklist in my computer and I print out whenever I'm packing. I started this years ago when my new husband and I were driving upstate for our honeymoon and I remembered that I had left my garment bag hanging on the back of a door at home. It's invaluable. I also do a checklist of things to do every day. I tried using an online checklist but I find that writing it down where I can see it all day is a better system for me. Whatever works!

I agree, Suzanne! I just finished setting up a new website for a pet food bank, Share The Love, so if you know any animal rescues or non-profit service dog training organizations, let them know about it.
